my day has been made. after months of pouring over the internet for a free version of microsoft word 2003, or at least a torrent that wouldn't ruin my new computer, i am overjoyed to announce that the program magically revealed itself to me, fully installed, just as i was about to construct my poetry response on the lesser microsoft word 2007. i love my life.

mika miko and blacklips are playing at the glasshouse tomorrow night. those aren't really bands i care about but that boy is going and who knows? there might be liquor and that'd be a nice change.
